To get you in the mood for the Theaterformen programme, the Universum Cinema will show both full-length and short films from different African countries from the 18th of April to the 6th of June, before the festival starts, usually every two weeks on Wednesday at 7 pm. There will be an introduction before each film by Florence Houdin from the Braunschweig International Film Festival. Dorothee Wenner will also be there to present the web series Kinshasa Collection. The film selection was chosen by Volker Kufahl from the Universum cinema.
