LISTEN, TALK, DO – AUDIENCE
During the festival, you can learn more about contemporary international theatre in various formats, get to know the artists, collaborators and the Theaterformen team and have a shared discussion with them.
Before the shows In the introductions before the shows, you can find out more about the productions and how they were created. In the warm-ups, the audience doesn’t just prepare itself mentally an hour before the show, but also physically for the productions.
After the shows There will be three talk formats after selected shows: in 10 Minutes 10 Questions, the name says it all, the Cool-Down is a chaired post-show discussion among the audience members in the style of a chat by the campfire, and the Talk format will usually take place with the artists.
Between the shows In the symposium we’re holding on June 21st and 22nd in cooperation with the Centre for Atlantic Global Studies at the Leibniz University Hannover, there will be discussions with academics and artists. On the last day of the festival, the event Meet the Mitwirkende – Hannoversche Biografien auf der Bühne will in turn provide the chance to talk to all the local participants who stood on stage in our plays. We explicitly and warmly invite the public to attend. The festival campus, in cooperation with the KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen, is a closed programme for students from Hannover, Hildesheim, Braunschweig and Lüneburg.
You can find the dates for the introductions, after-show discussions, warm-ups, cool-downs and 10 Minutes 10 Questions on the page for each play as well as on the inside front cover and in the festival schedule in the programme booklet.
