A bootcamp variety show for four performers and one pianist
Cezary is a young man. Cezary is a theatre-maker. Cezary is interested in art, but not in the army. How appropriate that they don’t want him anyway and exclude him from the selection. However, he finds it hard to accept this rejection and it sparks an ambition to prove that he’s man enough to be a soldier. Four performers and one pianist will play the rejected figure and deliver high-performance dance and music in the process. Dressed in sports gear, in five scenes that follow each other in extremely quick succession, they will go in search of forms of manliness and explore what the military has to do with their relationship to the state. Polish national anthems, folk songs and love songs will provide the soundtrack for this sporty and unusual evening of theatre.
