MEET PEOPLE, HAVE DISCUSSIONS, PARTICIPATE

Whether it’s introductions to the plays, post-show discussions, warm-ups, panel discussions, workshops or talks with the artists – there are many different ways you can learn more about international theatre, get to know the artists and the Theaterformen team and engage in lively discussions during the festival. At the pre-show introductions, you can find out more about the productions and how they were created. And in the warm-ups we first tried out last year, the audience can prepare themselves physically as well as mentally for the performance. You can also produce your own song under professional guidance in the Power Composing workshop. A new addition this year is the multilingual Theaterformen Blog editorial team, which will accompany the festival in front of and behind the scenes, in cooperation with Radio Leinehertz and its project Refugees on Air. They’ll be at the Festival Centre, where anyone can take a peek over their shoulders.

Before the festival gets going on the 8th of June, however, we highly recommend checking out the Kinoformen film series that will be shown in the Universum Filmtheater cinema. You can find more information in the following pages.
