DANCE THE TANDEM – Theaterformen special
in Collaboration with Schauspiel Hannover and Welcome Board of Musikland Niedersachsen
Grand finale: for two years, two bands met every month at the Schauspiel Hannover theatre. Each band played a concert, there was food and then a jam session. Dance the Tandem is now coming to an end and Theaterformen will present an extra special edition. Firstly, Dance the Tandem will happen in Braunschweig for the first and last time. Secondly, afterwards this format is finished. The Braunschweig quartet Les Soleils vibes so lightly that they lift jazz, folk and Latin music into the air. In The Old Damaskus Duo, Ahed Nofal plays the oud and Hadi Andywi the two drums darbuka and riq, presenting (neo-)classical oriental instrumental music forms in modern interpretation.
