POWER COMPOSING
Music workshop with Gudrun Gut and Barbara Morgenstern

Theatre, audio play and film music make up a large segment of the music market. They are both musical challenges and sources of income for musicians. In this workshop, participants are to produce a commissioned piece following a fictional brief. Gut and Morgenstern will accompany them throughout the whole process of production, from brainstorming all the way to the finished song.
The workshop is aimed at musicians, composers and producers. Some simple equipment will be available. Ideally, participants should bring their own computers, sound cards, earphones and (transportable) favourite instruments.

Workshop on performative techniques

Peggy Mädler, theatre, pedagogy and cultural studies scholar from Berlin, will lead this workshop, organised by the Federal Academy for Cultural Education Wolfenbüttel. As the part of the workshop, participants will visit a performance of She She Pop’s Oratorium.

THEATERFORMEN IN THIRD-LEVEL EDUCATION
In cooperation with regional educational authorities

Hannover Hochschule (University of Applied Sciences and Arts), Leibniz University Hannover, Stiftung University Hildesheim and Braunschweig University of Art will hold seminars and workshops in the summer semester of 2017 on the Theaterformen Festival with guest lectures by artists. These events are intended for students of the respective universities and details can be found in their lecture timetables.
